The substrate for this piece measures 8″x10″x 3/8″.   The hummingbird and flowers, crafted from shrink plastic add another wonderful dimension to the crown.  Antique tatted lace adds a lovely detail along the bodice of the dress.  The textured background was created with antique papers, fiber paste, stenciling and hand-drawn elements.  The edges have been silver leafed.
