The substrate for this piece measures 3 1/2″x5″x1″, which allows you to hang it or simply set it on a shelf!  The seven layers of faux resin incorporate vintage paper, stamping, hand drawing and German dresden trim.  These layers make the components look they are floating over each other!  The edges have been gold leafed.
